María Fernanda Díaz del Castillo

María Fernanda Díaz del Castillo is an international business professional and MBA graduate student in Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the International Business University (IBU) in Toronto, Canada. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration and a General MBA from Peru, combining a strong academic foundation with international experience in operations management, business development, customer experience, banking, consultancy, and retail food operations.

She currently manages a retail food business in Toronto, where she runs multi-location operations, coordinates staff and schedules, sets customer experience standards, and works to improve operational performance. Her work in Peru and Canada has strengthened her leadership, planning, operational efficiency, and cross-cultural team management in fast-paced workplaces.

Alongside her management career, María is building a clothing brand that links Peruvian and Canadian business, culture, and fashion. She has also appeared in runway events in Canada as a model and an international Peruvian queen representative.

At IBU, her MBA work has included innovation projects, AI-focused business initiatives, consultancy experience, and industry partnerships. She aims to build opportunities in innovation, culture, and business across global markets, drawing on her interests in leadership, entrepreneurship, and international business.
