María Fernanda Díaz del Castillo is an international business professional and MBA graduate student in Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the International Business University (IBU) in Toronto, Canada. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration and a General MBA from Peru, combining a strong academic foundation with international experience in operations management, business development, customer experience, banking, consultancy, and retail food operations.
Currently serving in the management of a retail food business in Toronto, María oversees multi-location operations, workforce coordination, scheduling, customer experience standards, and operational performance optimization. Her professional experience across Peru and Canada has strengthened her expertise in leadership, strategic planning, operational efficiency, and cross-cultural business management within fast-paced and dynamic environments.
In parallel with her corporate and managerial career, María is developing a clothing brand focused on strengthening connections between Peruvian and Canadian business, culture, and fashion through entrepreneurship and international collaboration. Her passion for fashion has also led her to participate in important runway events in Canada as a model and international Peruvian queen representative.
